Girls on the Run 2013

Gold Medal Sound played pre event music & emcees the 2013 Fall 5k rsz_girls-on-the-run-1-2013-11-09.jpgrun for Girls on the Run Fox Valley on November 8th 2013. Girls on the Run is a nationwide life changing non-profit prevention program for girls in 3rd through 8th grades in Northeast Wisconsin who's mission is “to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.”

Every November girls and their mothers or running partners gather in Neenah, Wisconsin at Neenah High School to participate in a 5k run around the high school grounds and local community.  The event is a great day with many local businesses providing everything from photo on site, to hair and nail makeovers and plenty of food from Festival Foods and others.  For more information on Girls on the Run visit their local Fox Valley website.

For the past 2 years, Gold Medal Sound has had a blast providing pre event music, music during the event for spectators as they waited for their runners to finish, and emcee the festivities, start the event and announce sponsors and runners as they cross the finish line.  Gold Medal Sound believes in this program for female students.  We look forward to helping Girls on the Run in future years and helping the program grow.
